As a homeschool graduate, I believe wholeheartedly that a healthy family is the best context for learning. The Creator entrusted YOU (parents) with the precious gift of your child, and there’s no one better suited than YOU to guide their education and their path to adulthood.
After a decade of teaching in public school, private school, university, and church settings, I founded Olive Tree Tutorials to equip homeschool families to make college and career decisions that align with their faith. In addition to studying apologetics at the seminary level, I’ve obtained multiple graduate degrees in history, education, and social science research, because I believe we should use every tool at our disposal – even the tools of progressive academia – to confront evil and speak truth in the midst of the culture.
I started The Olive Press Podcast to raise discussion of controversial topics like the decline of universities, the revival of Jewish and Christian classical education, and hidden issues in the homeschool movement that are causing millennial and Gen Z homeschool graduates to lose their faith (and what we can do to prevent this).
